Classrooms
Infants (6month – 12 months)
Our youngest students spend their time in a relaxed, multi-sensory environment. They are allowed ample time to explore, push up, crawl, and interact with friends. The teachers spend time on the floor guiding the foundation of gross motor development.
Toddlers (13 months – 24 months)
Our toddler class offers a nurturing social community with other children in which they begin to participate cooperatively within a peer group. Our toddler curriculum emphasizes basic gross motor coordination, independence and language development. Our toddlers enjoy weekly music class that incorporates basic childhood songs and the exploration of instruments.
Pre-school (2 and 3 year olds)
Our pre-school curriculum is based on current research and sound educational theories of early childhood language and development. Teachers will provide a wide range of hands-on and interactive activities that allow the child to use their unique learning style and explore their surroundings. Students in the pre-school classes also take part in music class, Spanish class and weekly chapel. They also participate in Kinderfit, a developmental program designed to help children work on motor, cognitive and social skills, and physical development. All children entering the 3 year old class must be toilet trained.
Pre-Kindergarten (4 and 5 year olds)
Our Pre-K 4 classroom is designed to make sure that our oldest students are fully prepared for Kindergarten. Our classroom curriculum incorporates key curricular content areas essential for young children to be successful learners, including language development, literacy, mathematics, science, social studies, creative arts, social and emotional development, and technology. Students in the pre-school classes also take part in music class, Spanish class and weekly chapel. They also participate in Kinderfit, a developmental program designed to help children work on motor, cognitive and social skills and physical development. Our Pre-K four class also enjoys taking field trips to places like the Farmers Market, the Dallas Children’s Theater, The Dallas Zoo and other exciting places that incorporate what is being explored in the classroom.
