The Rev. Oliver Lee

Prior to his current position, Fr. Oliver was called as the third Rector of Trinity Episcopal Church (now Church of the Incarnation North Campus). Before serving at Trinity, he served as the Priest-in-Charge of St. George’s Episcopal Church in South Dallas; and as the Middle School Chaplain for Parish Episcopal School in Dallas. He has previously served as the Assistant Rector of St. Barnabas Episcopal Church in Garland, Texas; the Associate Rector of Trinity Episcopal Church in Lawrence, Kansas; and as a Curate at St. Luke’s Episcopal Church in Dallas. Fr. Oliver also previously served as a Chaplain with the Dallas Police Department. Fr. Oliver pursued his undergraduate and graduate studies in Political Science, Law and Theology, at the United States Naval Academy, the University of Kansas; Weston Jesuit School of Theology; and Harvard University. His degrees include a Bachelor’s, Masters and Doctorate. Fr. Oliver was received as an Oblate, a Second Order Monastic, in the Order of St. Benedict, in 1999. He was ordained to the Diaconate in 2004, and to the Sacred Order of Priests in 2005. Fr. Oliver served as a Staff NCO in the United States Marine Corps, and as a Commissioned Officer in the U.S. Army’s Special Forces, commonly known as the Green Berets. As a Foreign Service Officer (R) in the Diplomatic Corps of the United States Department of State, Fr. Oliver was stationed in The People’s Republic of China; Beirut, Lebanon; and various other assignments around the world. Fr. Oliver was conferred the degree of Juris Doctor and is an attorney licensed in the State of Texas, various Federal Courts, and the United States Supreme Court. He is a former Federal Prosecutor (Senior Trial Attorney) with the United States Department of Justice, and has also served as an Associate Judge for the City of Dallas, Texas.
