Fr. Cody Turner is a proud native of Nashville, TN. He received his undergraduate degree in Church Music from Lee University in Cleveland, TN, and he spent three years serving as the Pastor of Worship & Arts at Community Bible Church in Highlands, NC. During this time, he began to discern a change in vocation and a desire to join the Anglican tradition. This change led him to Duke Divinity School, where he received his Masters of Divinity and was a part of the Anglican-Episcopal House of Studies. During this time, he served on the staff of All Saints Anglican Church in Durham, NC. At Incarnation, Fr. Cody oversees all aspects of the church’s worship life. He was ordained into the priesthood in June of 2023.
Outside of his work at the church, he loves to share a good laugh with friends, to talk sports—especially about the Tennessee Titans and the Duke Blue Devils—and to talk theology and the impact of Christian worship. He is also known to actively seek out and speak with anyone with a connection to Nashville, however tenuous the connection may be.
