Rule of Life and a Life of Prayer

Meets Wednesdays at noon Jan. 18 through Feb. 22 in the Family Ministries Room

This six week class will look at the following topics, taking as our foundation the Rule of Life outlined in The Book of Common Prayer:

What are the parts of the spiritual life?
The absolute centrality of prayer to the sustenance of our Christian Faith
How liturgical (written) prayer makes possible a life of spontaneous, internal prayer
How the Lord’s Prayer orders and guides own prayer life
Praying the Scriptures
Spiritual Disciplines
Creating and maintaining a Rule of Life, deliberate and conscious ordering of your spiritual life
