Prayer Ministry
Prayers for a host of personal and parish-wide concerns are offered in Memorial Chapel Monday through Friday at Morning and Evening Prayer. If you wish to have your concern included among those prayers for a particular day or for an extended period of nine (9) days, please call the Church Office at 214-521-5101.
Intercessory Prayer
Trained Intercessors are available to pray at the altar of the Good Shepherd Chapel each Sunday immediately following the 9:00 a.m. Traditional Service in the Church and during Holy Communion in both the 11:15 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. Uptown Contemporary Service. These fellow parishioners assist in praying for discernment, direction, assistance, healing, celebration, or whatever concern you may have for yourself or another. Please feel free to pray with us each week or any week. This group is also called up from time to time when significant prayer concerns confront the parish.
Daughters of the King
Church of the Incarnation’s Order of the Daughters of the King (DOK) meet the third Sunday of each month. A spiritual, praying order for women vowing to spread God’s Word through evangelism, prayer and service. Membership is open to communicants of the Episcopal, Catholic, and Lutheran Churches and visitors are welcome at all functions.
