North Dallas High School / Free SAT Prep Course

The course is designed to equip students at North Dallas High School to perform their best on an important standardized test.

Chase Skorburg approached the Outreach Department two years ago looking for guidance on how to begin this ministry. He had previously taught SAT preparation courses while completing his master’s degree at Yale and wanted to share that knowledge with students who might not have access to this type of course otherwise. The SAT prep course was started last Fall and has had over twenty students participate in it. When asked why he decided to start this ministry, he said, “I take part in this ministry because my education is something I am thankful for and I think as Christians, we have the privilege of sharing our thankfulness with others through service.”

Services

A free SAT test preparation course offered every Monday in the summer and during the school year.

Volunteer Opportunities

Assist in marketing the class to North Dallas High School students – 3 hours a month
