Reconciliation Outreach

"Love your neighbor."  Mark 12:31

Reconciliation Outeach (RO) and COTI are neighbors!  Located at Bryan and Peak, RO is included in the Mission: 75204 program.  Reconciliation Outreach is one of the largest nonprofit, faith-based organizations in the Dallas area to provide both residential and non-residential programs for men, women, and single mothers who have life-controlling problems such as alcohol, drug abuse, and homelessness.

Mission Statement:  Reconciliation Outreach's vision is to establish and maintain a strong Christian community within the inner city and to provide a safe, loving environment for healing lives and restoring families and individuals to a productive lifestyle.

Volunteer Opportunities:  RO has numerous opportunities for those who desire to serve and want to make a difference in the lives of others.  Incarnation has participated in the RO back-to-school materials drive for several years. The RO children’s programs are in need of after school tutors, mentors, program assistants and camp counselors.  Mentors who can help prepare adults for job interviews as well as grooming and makeup etc. are needed.  There is also an on-going need for volunteers who are willing to help with painting and renovating the residential housing and yard work.  There are various projects such as the Thanksgiving Outreach and Christmas Tree Lighting that need volunteers.

For detailed information view the RO website. Contact the COTI Outreach Office or Nancy Beth Roberts to express interest or ask questions.  Return to the Outreach Page.
