Alcoholics Anonymous – Alcoholics Anonymous is a national organization of men and women who share their experience, strengths and hope in the desire to end an alcoholic addiction. The group meets at the Church of the Incarnation in the Chi Rho Room Mondays at 6:00 p.m., and Tuesdays and Thursdays at 7:30 p.m.. There are no dues or fees. Community of Hope – The Community of Hope (COH) is a Christian community of volunteer lay pastoral ministers united in prayer, shaped by Benedictine spirituality, and equipped for pastoral care ministries. Community of Hope provides a listening, compassionate, non-controlling presence to others for the purpose of consciously or unconsciously representing Christ in response to their spiritual needs. Community of Hope ministers undergo a fourteen week training program that prepares them for participation in this focused ministry. Intercessory Prayer Group — The Intercessory Prayer Group offers private prayers for individuals each Sunday following the 9:00 a.m. services in the Good Shepherd Chapel. Individuals with concerns of any kind may receive prayer at this time. Prayer requests are kept confidential. Prayer Shawl Ministry — Every Tuesday, knitters gather at the church to knit shawls for "those in need. Once a shawl is knitted, it is passed around the knitting team for prayers and blessed by a parish priest and tagged with the Prayer Shawl Prayer. A Prayer Shawl journal records each shawl’s knitters and recipient, as well as the many amazing and holy stories associated with the shawls. Over 200 prayer shawls have been knitted and delivered thus far. Free Prayer Shawls are available to anyone. If you would like a Prayer Shawl or know of someone in need, please contact the Church Office or Dusty Matthews The Samaritans – All parishioners are welcome to share in this fellowship group and minister to the needs of the parish’s aged and homebound. The Samaritans provide a ministry of care, compassion and connection through regular visits and phone calls to those unable to attend church. Members visit one to three home-bound parishioners monthly, either in person or through weekly phone contact. A simple visit can be one of God’s greatest blessings, and one of the most rewarding ministries in the church. Let us know of your interest to serve by emailing us at info@incarnation.org. VNA Bereavement Luncheons – Led by the Visiting Nurse Association, VNA Bereavement Luncheons provide a practical program to assist participants in healthy mourning. Helpful literature about the grieving process is provided with this complimentary lunch, as well as information on community resources.
