The Gift of Adolescence
10:20 a.m. in the Family Ministries Room
Eugene
Peterson recently wrote: “There are no well-adjusted adolescents.
Adolescence is, by definition, maladjustment. And getting adjusted is a
strenuous and often noisy process.” But adolescence is also a gift to
parents in middle age. They are God’s gift, bringing into our lives a
challenge to grow, testing our love and stretching our faith. We offer
this class for parents with teens, facilitated by parishioner Cynthia
Krause. The goal is to gather and focus our resources on learning how
to help our children and our families thrive through the gift of
adolescence. The text for this class is Like Dew Your by Eugene Peterson and is available in the Incarnation Bookstore. Contact Cynthia Krause for more information.
