Financial Giving

Giving in the open plate
Although this has traditionally been the way many people support the Church, from the individual's point of view this method is difficult to sustain in maintaining regular support of the Church and does not provide tax incentives for charitable deductions. From the Church's point of view this method can be haphazard and not conducive to the budgeting so necessary these days.

Offering envelopes
Envelopes are mailed monthly to all members and regular visitors of the parish. Individuals use these envelopes to make systematic gifts to the Church. We recommend that individuals still make a pledge. If you are not receiving envelopes and would like to, please contact the Church Office.

Pledging and completing your pledge card
Why pledge? A pledge helps you, as well as the Church, plan for the future. Our programs rely on an estimate of giving from the parish for budgeting correctly in order to be good stewards of your gifts. Many communicants give proportionately on the income and estimating their giving allows them to plan their expenses. Click here to pledge online.

Systematic and automatic credit card or EFT deduction
The Church has the means to allow communicants to set up an automatic deduction on a monthly, quarterly or yearly basis from your Mastercard, Visa, American Express, Discover or directly from your bank account in a secure manner.

Stock gifts
Stock gifts are made by direct electronic transfer. Please notify us of your intended gift transfer. Transfers should be made to:

Lifetime Giving

Bequests
Stewardship affects the whole of our lives and it is appropriate to consider giving of your accumulated assets as you do with your yearly tithe. The Incarnation Foundation and its unique endowment funds are set up to honor our past parishioners' gifts and grow those gifts for the future of the Church. Our Bishop Garrett Society recognizes these individuals along with present parishioners that have indicated to the Foundation they have made provisions beyond their lifetime to the Church of the Incarnation. Other Lifetime Gifts
The Church can help you determine which planned gift is best for your financial situation. There are three simple ways to give to the Church through your estate. Other gift vehicles are available; to receive more information about planned giving, contact the Church Office at (214) 521-5101.
